Kin Kaolad - Premium Chestnut Brand Project

About Project: “Kinkaolad” brand is a premium grade chestnut from Japan. The uniqueness of the Japan chestnut is large edible parts with a sweet and soft-fluffy texture like a sweet potato.

Project Brief :“Kinkaolad” is a brand that sells premium chestnuts in Thailand. The brand wanted to rebrand and emphasise an identity which would set the brand apart from the competition and present a memorable impression. In this way, they hoped to increase the brand's value, achieve sales targets and increase online sales.

Concept & Design:
Logo Design: The concept is to understand the product on offer, just by looking at the logo. In this way, we designed the logo to be a drawing of a chestnut that conveys a friendly and simple shape. In addition, we designed the logo font of the brand name under the drawing to make it more memorable.

Font: We wrote the brand name in English to give an international approach and the font style we chose represents a premium product.

Marketing: Foster brand awareness to the target market in order to form new relationships and make a greater number of online sales (Shopee).

1. Research and analysis of brand, product and competitors, including a SWOT analysis of Thai market share and export opportunities.
2. Redesign the channel image including Facebook, Line@ and Instagram
3. Social media management and content planning following current trends.
4. Set up and operate an e-commerce platform with Shopee, a popular online shopping platform.
5. Campaign management and advertising operations to achieve sales targets.
